Projects > Superconductivity!
The Superconductivity! project is a constellation of outreach efforts
related to superconductivity. Its launch will coincide with the fiftieth
anniversary of the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) theory, a theory whose
importance in the physical sciences is on par with that of the Watson-Crick
discovery of the structure of DNA in the biological sciences. Superconductivity!
will be the first outreach project of the EUP and will serve as the first
implementation of our six-pronged approach to science education.
