Projects > Museum Exhibits

Core concepts developed for the Web site will be applied to produce hands-on traveling museum exhibits on superconductivity and emergence. This may include the Strange Matter exhibit produced by the Material Research Society as well as the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry’s Science Storms exhibition (scheduled to open in 2009), which will include interactive units on emergence.

These exhibits will be developed in cooperation with the Museum of Science and Industry (Barry Aprison), the Minnesota Science Museum (J. Newlin), and the Exploratorium (Rob Semper and Tom Rockwell), as well as ICAM, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and leading Chicago-area universities and scientific institutions.
